According to our Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions: "No building, fence, wall or other structure shall be commenced, erected, or maintained upon the Properties, nor shall any exterior addition to or change or alteration therein be made until the plans and specification showing the nature, kind, shape heights, materials, location of the same shall have been submitted to and approved in writing as to the harmony of external design and location in relation to surrounding structures and topography... by the Board of Directors of the Association, or an architectural committee composed of three or more representative appointed by the Board."
If you are planning any work on the exterior of your home or property other than maintenance, you MUST submit your plans to the HOA Board for approval. The architectural review committee has 30 days to respond to your written request. If you do not receive a response within 30 days after submitting the plans and specifications, approval will be implied and you will be deemed to have fully complied with these requirements.
